With over 750 clients served, Tidied by K offers a range of services, from home and office organization to move management and retail space optimization. Ready to translate her extensive knowledge into an engaging online course for other professional organizers, it was time to develop a course to reach this wider audience.

HOW KENIKA DETERMINED SHE NEEDED HELP WITH HER ONLINE COURSE creation

Kenika's primary challenge was the overwhelming process of creating a comprehensive online course. Despite her desire to develop a signature course that would stand out in her field, she felt stuck with fragmented ideas and an incomplete structure. She wanted to produce a professional, high-quality course that could be updated over time, but every attempt to start left her feeling overwhelmed.

Additionally, Kenika aimed to teach professional organizers how to market their services effectively to book high-value projects. Her course is intended to provide these organizers, typically in their second year of business, with strategies to generate consistent traffic and secure contracts. She wanted her course to be easy to follow, widely recommended, and competitive with similar offerings in the market.

Curriculum Development

In our initial discussions, it became clear that organizing Kenika’s content into a structured curriculum was crucial. She had a lot of documents and ideas that she had already created but I worked closely with her to develop a strong transformation and to outline each module and lesson, ensuring they aligned with the educational goals and resonated with her audience. This collaborative process involved mapping out key learning objectives and using our expertise to create a curriculum that was both comprehensive and easy to follow.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE VIDEO EDITS

I personally assisted Kenika by helping her film her "talking head" lessons.
I managed the teleprompter to keep her on track and set up the camera and lighting to optimize video quality. This support allowed Kenika to focus on delivering her content without the stress of managing technical details.
I edited all video lessons with visual elements to keep her students engaged.
I removed all pauses and talking mistakes made while filming.
Color graded the videos for a cohesive look.
Adjusted audio for clarity.

I handled all the technical setup and integration.
I inserted lesson outcomes and transcripts to make the course accessible for all students
I uploaded all videos while linking essential assets like workbooks.
Additionally, I branded the course platform. These efforts ensured a seamless, user-friendly experience.
Developed SOPs for she understands how to update the course platform.
